I received a message on the blog’s Facebook earlier this week alerting me to a recent set of news stories here in Winona. They discuss two alleged bank robbers, one of whom was dressed in 1920s attire. I have attached the original PDFs that I received anonymously.
The events in question occurred the night of October 13th.
It seems a little early to me for Halloween… but more to the point, it would be weird to think you’d celebrate Halloween by robbing a bank in retro clothes. I know you want to have a disguise – I have SO much knowledge of how to commit a heist, obviously – but since they apparently wore no masks or other means of hiding their identities…
This one’s pretty different from what we’ve usually been getting, so I’d love to hear some thoughts from you readers.

Woah this is crazy that this is happening in Winona! And what is with the outdated looks.. could this be another case of the time traveling drama?

I think I saw them, they look they were getting ready for some sort of swing dancing. Scary though if they are making mischief. The world is getting worse every day.

Just a note that if you saw them, as they are at large robbery suspects, you should definitely reach out to the appropriate authorities!

I haven’t seen any further news releases about the case. It seems like the police are keeping it pretty quiet… They usually do when something weird happens.

So suspicious! I had no idea the bank was robbed. If these time travelers are real, we need to be looking out for our safety.

I wonder if it’s some kind of Halloween promotion. Or some kind of event. There was a lot of strange stuff for Halloween going on in town.

If I ever robbed a bank and were a so called “time traveler” I would leave 2018 so fast. Not that I would ever rob a bank lol

People really will do anything for attention. This is clearly a Bonnie and Clyde imitation gone wrong. Do people not realize that felony crimes are serious ? You can’t just attempt to rob a bank and shrug it off at the bar. This country gets more and more helpless every decade

Very interesting! The fact that they didn’t have any masks or anything could definitely be evidence that they are time travelers because clearly there were no security cameras back then. Have they been caught yet?

I don’t know about the whole time traveler thing. The last thing I’d be doing if I was in the future was crime. I bet when they catch them they find out that they are part of some sort of cult or something. If it’s real. I can barely even watch TV anymore, so much fake news. Even the newspapers are in on it.

I feel like it would make perfect sense for a potential time traveler to rob a bank as they wouldn’t have a lot of money in the future, however I need more solid evidence before I can make any solid conclusions on this whole time travel babble, but something is definitely out of place.

Besides this report, which was specifically a bank robbery, no one has reported any of the time travelers doing anything dangerous or illegal to others.

I am sure they will soon be arrested. The face of the crooks are so clear on the security camera. Also I am not sure about the whole time traveler idea. They could be master of disguise and use a latex mask to deceive us.
