I apologize but after the day I just had at work I really need to let off some steam tonight. I’m rescheduling the post for tomorrow.

Honestly, it’s really not that valuable. The guy’s obviously a joke.

Sorry for the lack of warning, but I ended up taking a train south to visit some family for Thanksgiving. I thought I’d end up posting on the way, but I stared out the window the whole time. I can’t imagine how beautiful some of that trip would be in October, when the leaves were still changing!

Wanted to leave the apology and note that based on the responses to the previous entry, I’ll be posting an account from someone claiming to be a time traveler tomorrow. They seem pretty dubious to me but yeah, you guys can decide for yourselves.

I have a question for the blog’s readers:

Should I post the stories of people who claim to be involved but who I have doubts are really time travelers?

I did an interview a couple weeks ago with someone here in Winona who’s very open with their claim to be a time traveler but I’m really not sure if I believe them specifically. I want to include opinions from both sides of the truth/hoax claim but I am not sure if including the accounts of people I believe are independently posing as false time travelers on the blog. I want to stay on track and have this be a place to investigate the truth, not propagate tabloid YOU DECIDE clickbait.

Today I bring you – I know it’s late I’m sorry, I’ve just found it hard to get my engine going lately – the first report on an interview with a time traveler!

This interview was conducted last month, after he had reached out to the blog through an email. At the time, this was all pretty new so I only had some basic questions for him.

Richard Newman claims he arrived here from 1997 during August, 2018. He states that he dropped out of school and was taking a train back to Winona to return home to find work. However, he instead found himself disembarking in 2018.

I asked how he believed he’d come to be here, to which he said, “no idea, probably some voodoo destiny stuff […] I honestly thought I was being pranked at first”.

No evidence so far really points to “voodoo destiny stuff”, but then, I haven’t really been able to discern any pattern. Maybe all this really is destiny. I know I’d been hoping for something interesting to happen around here.

When asked about his experience in 2018, he stated that while he thought the current social trends in music and healthy food were terrible, he was having a good time. Apparently he made the lucky investment we all wish we or our parents had, and bought Amazon stocks back in the 1990s!

Honestly, even if we never figure out how these people got here, I can’t believe people don’t want to figure out how to send them back, if only so they can go back themselves and make similar choices…

The blog hasn’t received more communications from Richard since this interview, but I sincerely appreciate him taking the time to tap out all these replies for us! I invite any other time travelers or associates of time travelers to reach out and share their story.

I wanted to let you all know that that interview post I promised about the time traveler I interviewed back during September will be coming out tomorrow, I hope.

Been getting sidetracked lately with some other stuff… I’ve been more tired again lately after dealing with all the people blowing off some steam and looking for a fight around here lately.

Anyway, tomorrow’s when the first interview post is scheduled to arrive. Look forward to it!

And please, if you’ve got a problem with me or the time travelers or whatever, post with some sense of decorum and we can discuss it.

 

I’ve had a request by Peter, the wife of Debra and son-in-law of Elsa, to provide additional time for his opinion on the story.

The day Elizabeth showed up at the house, he does not seem to have bought the “time traveler” story at all. He’s dead sure something else is going on. Despite all of the other stories on this blog, and the feelings of his family members, he is adamant that time travel is an impossibility.

His alternative explanation, which he provides no evidence for and cannot explain his reasoning behind, is that the government has a plot to target his family.

Like everyone else in the household, he’s yet to see Elizabeth White again. I’m not sure how the government could be plotting against his family if they’ve not bothered to return, but this is his thinking.

Peter, or anyone else from this household, please let me know if you have additional information you wanted posted.

I appreciate all blog submissions. I really do. I haven’t had time to go looking for things on my own at all lately. I do need help finding content to add to the blog.

But you need to send REAL experiences and evidence! This blog is for TRUTH SEEKING.

There’s weird things going on Winona and we all just want to understand what’s going on.

I received a message on the blog’s Facebook earlier this week alerting me to a recent set of news stories here in Winona. They discuss two alleged bank robbers, one of whom was dressed in 1920s attire. I have attached the original PDFs that I received anonymously.

Criminal Information

The events in question occurred the night of October 13th.

It seems a little early to me for Halloween… but more to the point, it would be weird to think you’d celebrate Halloween by robbing a bank in retro clothes. I know you want to have a disguise – I have SO much knowledge of how to commit a heist, obviously – but since they apparently wore no masks or other means of hiding their identities…

This one’s pretty different from what we’ve usually been getting, so I’d love to hear some thoughts from you readers.

An entire family has recently been in touch with the blog about their encounter with a time traveler. This report comes from a mother daughter pair: Elsa Harriet White and Debra Hoffman.

One recent morning while Debra sat outside her home in Winona, a distressed and confused woman wearing 1920s period clothing appeared in her front yard. The woman claimed that Debra’s home was actually her home. Surprised and confused herself, Debra invited this potential time traveler into her home and out of the coolness of the early autumn. (Elsa tells this story a little differently, claiming that the woman knocked on the door first rather than being invited in by Debra.)

Once inside, Debra’s mother, Elsa, who lives with her and her husband, reacted strongly to the 1920s woman. The elderly Elsa, upon hearing that the woman’s name was Elizabeth White, became upset. Debra demanded that Elizabeth leave as she was distressing her mother and Elizabeth quickly acquiesced.

Elsa explained that her mother had disappeared in 1928 during a job search that had taken her away from Winona. The 1920s woman shared the name of her mother and even had an uncanny resemblance to a portrait of her that hangs in Elsa’s bedroom. To quote Elsa, she was “a spitting image of her”.

Elizabeth White herself made no claim that she was related to the family. She only stated that this was her house. She did not request further information, connection, or money. Debra had no sense that the family was being scammed or sussed out for potential victimization.

Elsa is convinced this woman is her missing mother, somehow visiting them from nearly a hundred years ago. Debra doesn’t know what to think.

Debra’s husband has also briefly been in contact with me. He is less on board with the idea and thinks there’s something else going on… But he couldn’t really explain why it would be the government or something else. It wasn’t his belief either that Elizabeth was trying to take advantage of Elsa, just being mean to her somehow.

None of them currently are aware of the whereabouts of this Elizabeth White. Those who believe they may have spotted or interacted with her are invited to add their information below or in a blog submission.

I have been really excited about all the new attention the blog has been getting the last few days! Before, people were sending in their stories now and then but no one had much to say. I am very pleased that I could facilitate so much discussion on the subject of time travelers in Winona, MN through this blog. I know my updates can be slow because I am tired, but everyone being so excited to learn more about this topic has made it easier to get myself going lately.
